Lauren Holappa

Lauren Holappa is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ San Diego office.

Before joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Holappa clerked for a plaintiff’s attorney, where she learned all about plaintiffs’ tricks for personal injury cases and saw all the ways plaintiffs try to shift the balance against defendants. She brings to the firm her knowledge of plaintiffs’ tactics and her desire to ensure everyone has a strong, passionate defense team.

Ms. Holappa obtained her J.D. from the University of San Diego School of Law in 2023 and graduated cum laude. A lover of liberty and constitutional law nerd, she served as the president of the Federalist Society. She also participated on USD’s mock trial team. She obtained her B.A. in Theatre Studies from Northeastern University in 2016 and graduated cum laude.

When she is not working, Ms. Holappa spends time with her two rescue dogs, Winky and Pippin. She also volunteers at a local San Diego dog rescue, Cantu Foundation, to help pups find their forever homes. She loves reading, listening to podcasts, and exploring San Diego restaurants.
