Karoline Kitlowski

Karoline Kitlowski is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’s San Diego office. Her practice focuses on a wide variety of civil litigation matters.

Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Kitlowski worked in an office specializing in class actions and other complex litigation. She successfully brought and defended against a wide variety of motions, including anti-SLAPP motions, demurrers, and motions for summary adjudication.

Ms. Kitlowski obtained her J.D. from the Arizona State University College of Law in 2022, where she served as both the President and Internal Competition chair of Moot Court. She also served as a Senior Note and Comment Editor for the Jurimetrics Journal and as Treasurer of the Animal Legal Defense Fund. Ms. Kitlowski obtained her B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2019. During undergrad, Ms. Kitlowski competed on UCLA’s Mock Trial team and served as captain for 6 of her 8 seasons. She also taught at UCLA’s Mock Trial Institute each summer to raise funds for the team.

In her free time, Ms. Kitlowski enjoys hanging out with her two cats, playing Magic: the Gathering with friends, and watching documentaries. She loves visiting museums and collecting new facts to share with friends and family.
