Gabriel Martinez

Gabriel is an Associate Attorney in Tyson & Mendes’ New York office. He focuses his practice on representing insurance carriers and their insureds in civil litigation, including premises liability and medical malpractice matters. Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Gabriel practiced at firms in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and Orangeburg, New York, where he gained experience handling personal injury, premises liability, general liability, and construction litigation cases.

Gabriel has substantial litigation experience representing businesses and individuals in state courts throughout New York. He is committed to developing the strongest possible factual defenses for his clients and has successfully secured dismissals of plaintiffs’ claims and opposed summary judgment motions brought by co-defendants. He has also led numerous settlement negotiations and mediations, achieving favorable outcomes for his clients.

Gabriel earned his undergraduate degree from Syracuse University and his J.D. from Temple University Beasley School of Law. During law school, he held leadership roles in the Black Law Students Association and served as Treasurer of the Temple Student Bar Association.

In his free time, Gabriel enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, playing the guitar, and traveling.
