Abigail Flynn

Abigail Flynn is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Denver office. Her practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance defense.

Ms. Flynn represents corporate clients and corporate clients in a wide range of complex claims. Throughout law school, she worked with multiple government and private-sector offices, including experience at the federal level, where she drafted dispositive motions, conducted detailed legal research, and assisted in discovery and trial preparation. Ms. Flynn’s experience includes exposure to matters involving federal tort claims, appellate procedure, and insurance-related litigation, giving her insight into the full spectrum of the litigation process. During law school, she served as a research assistant and contributed to antitrust law scholarship. Ms. Flynn’s academic dedication was further demonstrated through her thesis, “Ethical Integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Legal Practice,” which explored the evolving intersection of law and technology. She also completed an internship at a county attorney’s office, where she honed her prosecutorial and courtroom skills and strengthened her passion for high-stakes legal disputes. Ms. Flynn is a member of the Hispanic National Bar Association, the Colorado Hispanic Bar Association, and the Colorado Bar Association. She is bilingual in English and Spanish. Ms. Flynn is licensed to practice law in the District of Columbia and Colorado.

Ms. Flynn obtained her J.D. from the University of New Hampshire Franklin Pierce School of Law in 2025. Outside of academics, Ms. Flynn was highly involved in her school’s Latinx Law Student Association. She obtained her B.S. from Colorado Mountain College, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree.

In addition to her legal practice, Ms. Flynn is committed to community engagement through volunteer work and enjoys hiking and skiing in the mountains with family and friends. She is also a huge fan of Denver sports teams.
