Stefani Norrbin Cogsdale

Stefani Norrbin Cogsdale is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Jacksonville office. Her practice focuses on defending clients in personal auto, trucking and transportation, dramshop and rideshare cases, premises liability, and defense of entity defendants where sexual torts are alleged.

Ms. Cogsdale’s trial experience includes successfully representing a large supermarket chain in slip and fall cases. She specializes in stepping into high-risk bodily injury and uninsured/underinsured motorist cases later in the litigation process to prepare the cases for a successful outcome at trial. Ms. Cogsdale has experience handling trials involving multiple surgeries and traumatic brain injury. Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Cogsdale was a partner at a large Florida law firm and worked as in-house counsel for one of the largest automobile insurance carriers. She also has significant experience in special investigative unit work and major claims investigative unit work.

Ms. Cogsdale obtained her J.D. from Florida State University College of Law in 2011, where she served on the Florida State Law Review and graduated magna cum laude. She received Book Awards in Business Associations and Law and Literature. She obtained her B.A. in Psychology from Florida State University in 2008, where she graduated summa cum laude and was ranked first in the graduating class.

In her free time, Ms. Cogsdale enjoys competitive show jumping with her horses, Luke and Rollo. She also enjoys running and playing fetch with her dogs, Asher and Huckleberry.
