Keisha Reed-McLean

Keisha Reed-McLean is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County office, where her practice focuses on general insurance defense litigation.

Ms. Reed-McLean has extensive litigation experience. She has dedicated her personal and professional life to service and justice, evidenced in her extensive litigation experience over 22 years representing clients in the Los Angeles Superior Court system as a Deputy Public Defender. She has handled over 50 felony, misdemeanor, juvenile, and post-conviction jury and court trials, adjudications, and contested hearings to verdict or decision. Before her litigation career, Ms. Reed-McLean served as a member of the United States Marine Corps (Reserves), worked for the United States Department of Agriculture as a Plant Protection and Quarantine Technician, worked at Ticketmaster Entertainment as an Executive Legal Assistant (to the General Counsel), and worked at Stamps.com as a Paralegal in the Legal Department. Ms. Reed-McLean is a member of the Langston Bar Association, Black Women Lawyers of Los Angeles, the American Bar Association, and the National Bar Association.

Ms. Reed-McLean obtained her J.D. from Loyola Law School in 2003, during which she served as a member of the Black Law Student Association (BLSA). She obtained her B.A. in Political Science from Mount Saint Mary’s University in 1998.

Ms. Reed-McLean is passionate about her yoga practice, which she has cultivated over the past 22 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband, their three children, and their highly energetic Bernedoodle. She also dedicates time to serving on the board of a non-profit organization and is a facilitator to a food pantry that her family runs.
