Rachel Delgado

Rachel Delgado is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Jacksonville office. Her practice focuses on defending clients in matters alleging auto negligence, medical malpractice, products liability, premises liability, and commercial litigation matters.

With extensive experience representing corporate clients, healthcare providers, and businesses, Mrs. Delgado is known for her strategic approach to both litigation and risk management. Her career has given her a unique perspective on legal defense. She began as an attorney at a prominent plaintiff litigation firm known for being bold and obtaining Nuclear Verdicts®, which provided her with a deep understanding of plaintiff strategy she now leverages for the defense. She transitioned to a leading civil defense firm, where she defended corporate clients, healthcare systems and providers, insurance carriers, SIR entities, and businesses. Immediately prior to joining the firm, Mrs. Delgado served as the VP of Legal & Operations for an exceptional private investigation agency in Florida. She gained extensive experience with complex investigations, investigative research, and advising clients on a variety of complex or sensitive matters. Mrs. Delgado brings her investigative experience to each and every case as she works it up for trial. Mrs. Delgado enjoys finding the “unfindable” and developing a case strategy with her team. She is an active member of the Florida Bar.

Mrs. Delgado obtained her J.D. from the University of Miami School of Law. She also holds a B.Sc. in Microbiology and Molecular Biology from the University of Central Florida.

In her personal life, Mrs. Delgado enjoys being a kid again with her daughter, spending time with her husband, and getting in a good workout at the gym, on the bike, or out on the water rowing.
