Edison Li

Edison Li is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Jacksonville office, where he focuses on premises liability—including slip-and-fall matters—and automobile negligence defense.

Before joining the firm as an attorney, Mr. Li served as a judicial intern for the Honorable Jeffrey R. Levenson in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit of Florida and later returned to Tyson & Mendes as a law clerk, gaining substantial experience in civil litigation and trial preparation. During his time as a law clerk, Mr. Li assisted multiple trial teams in preparing a liability case that ultimately resulted in a successful defense outcome. His contributions included pre-trial legal research, discovery strategy development, and evidentiary preparation, all of which helped position the case for a favorable result. His judicial internship further deepened his understanding of civil liability issues and strengthened his ability to evaluate legal arguments from both plaintiff and defense perspectives.

Mr. Li obtained his J.D. from the University of Florida Levin College of Law in 2025, where he participated in the Jury Selection Workshop and the Gator TeamChild Juvenile Law Clinic. He also obtained his B.S. in Psychology from the University at Buffalo (2022).

Outside the office, Mr. Li enjoys spending time with his family and his three cats. He is an avid swimmer and loves traveling and exploring new destinations.
