Julia Witt

Ms. Julia Witt is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County office. Her practice encompasses the defense of both public and private entities across various industries, and within several areas of law.

Ms. Witt is a seasoned litigator who ardently works to represent her clients’ interests and resolve disputes in the most thorough and efficient way possible. She has represented individuals, small to mid-sized businesses, multinational corporations, and state and local governments in a variety of complex, high exposure matters, in both state and federal courts. Ms. Witt prides herself on working to understand the unique facts of each case and analyzing and asserting the potential defenses available to each client, while also striving to facilitate settlement and negotiated resolution, when appropriate. She has experienced repeated success with dispositive motion practice, routinely obtaining favorable results for her clients through the elimination of claims and parties, including several cases where summary judgment was granted, resulting in the dismissal of matters, in their entirety.

Ms. Witt obtained her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame Law School. She obtained her B.A. and M.A. in International Relations from the University of Southern California, where she graduated summa cum laude. She is a member of the academic honor society, Phi Beta Kappa.

When not working, Ms. Witt enjoys spending time with her family, going to the beach, traveling, reading, riding her Peloton, and practicing yoga.
