Latevia Priddy

Latevia Priddy is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Atlanta office, where her practice focuses on general liability and insurance defense matters.

A versatile and seasoned litigator, Ms. Priddy brings broad experience across a wide range of practice areas, including criminal defense and prosecution, personal injury, probate and estate planning, civil rights, labor and employment, consumer protection, family law and business formation. Throughout her career, she has brought tenacity and precision to her work, protecting the interests of every client she serves. She also serves as a Judge Pro Tem with the Fulton County Juvenile Court, a role that reflects both her courtroom command and her commitment to equitable outcomes for vulnerable populations. Ms. Priddy is a fierce and strategic advocate who pursues early, favorable resolutions while remaining fully prepared to litigate. She is recognized for crafting persuasive dispositive motions that position her clients for decisive outcomes. Clients rely on her for thorough, candid case analysis and the kind of tailored legal strategy that anticipates risk and drives results. Her ability to distill facts into compelling, well-reasoned arguments has established her as a trusted and formidable presence at every stage of litigation and across the negotiating table. She is licensed to practice in all Superior and State Courts of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, the United States District Courts for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia, all Circuit and District Courts of Kentucky, the United States District Court for the Western District of Kentucky, and the District of Columbia. Ms. Priddy maintains active membership with the State Bar Associations of Georgia, Kentucky, and the District of Columbia, and holds membership in the Gate City Bar Association, the Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys, the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, the Atlanta Bar Association, and the Lawyers Club. She also serves as an Advisory Board Member for Carver Bible College and is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc.

Ms. Priddy obtained her J.D. from the Salmon P. Chase College of Law at Northern Kentucky University. She obtained her bachelor’s degree from the University of Kentucky.

Outside of her professional and civic commitments, Ms. Priddy enjoys serving in her church, traveling internationally, and spending quality time with family and friends. She also has a particular fondness for going to the movies and delighting in extravagant Christmas lights.
