Sara Woods
Sara Woods is a Partner at Tyson & Mendes’ Fresno office. Her practice focus includes personal injury, professional liability, and employment practices defense.
Ms. Woods has participated in all aspects of litigation, including trial preparation. Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Woods worked for several large insurance defense firms in both Northern and Southern California.
Ms. Woods graduated from Southwestern Law School in 2009 with distinction. While in law school, she served as an extern to the Honorable Gary Allen Fees for the United States District Court, Central District of California, and the Honorable Jorge Ballestero for the Federal Criminal and Correctional Court in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She was also a member of Southwestern’s Moot Court team and Journal of International Law. Ms. Woods graduated magna cum laude from California State University, Chico, in 2004 with a double major in Journalism and Spanish. During her last year of college, Ms. Woods studied abroad at the University of Granada, Spain.
In her free time, Ms. Woods loves to travel, read, spend time outdoors, exercise, and play golf.
