Sabira Sherman
Sabira Sherman is a Partner in Tyson & Mendes’ San Diego office. Her practice focuses on the defense of entity defendants where sexual torts are alleged.
With nearly a decade of experience as a litigator, Ms. Sherman has represented public entities, including cities and school districts, in employment and labor, personal injury, and eminent domain lawsuits. She has a keen awareness of the unique challenges a public entity may face during litigation and is well-prepared to handle all concerns throughout the life of the case. Ms. Sherman has also represented insureds and private companies in labor and employment, transportation, and commercial litigation defense, as well as in product liability and personal injury suits. She is admitted to practice in California, as well as in the U.S. District Courts in the Central and Eastern Districts of California.
Ms. Sherman obtained her J.D. from California Western School of Law, graduating magna cum laude. During law school, she served as the Executive Notes and Comments Editor for the California Western International Law Journal. Ms. Sherman obtained her B.A. in Psychology. from New York University.
