Scott M. Rensch

Scott M. Rensch is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Jacksonville office. His practice focuses on personal injury defense, including automobile, premises, and general liability claims.
Mr. Rensch has a broad variety of litigation experience, having previously represented both plaintiffs and defendants in a wide variety of cases and claims throughout Florida, including bodily injury/uninsured motorist, premises liability, products liability, construction defect, subrogation, PIP, special/major case investigations, and employment and trademark disputes. He also previously owned his own law firm, serving as a complex litigation e-discovery contractor for some of the world’s largest AmLaw 100 firms, as well as serving for the better part of a decade as general counsel to one of the largest craft beverage manufacturers in the US.
Mr. Rensch obtained his J.D. from Florida A&M University College of Law in 2013. Before that, he attended the University of Central Florida, where he obtained his B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies and a minor from the Rosen School of Hospitality Management. He is also currently pending final certification as a Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator.
In his free time, Mr. Rensch enjoys spending time with his family in the Florida sunshine and cheering on his UCF Knights.
