Brandon Kerr

 

Brandon Kerr is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County office.  His practice focuses on general liability/insurance defense and construction litigation.

Over the course of his career, Mr. Kerr has successfully represented clients in a broad range of matters involving business disputes, construction defects, personal injury, vehicle/trucking accidents, lemon law, and real estate.  He has defended the nation’s largest homebuilders in construction defect litigation and represented major RV manufacturers in consumer litigation.

In a recent case, Mr. Kerr’s detailed discovery and thorough investigation led to the favorable resolution of an $18 million fire damage claim involving tenants of an apartment building.  In another matter, Mr. Kerr successfully negotiated a low cost settlement on behalf of a Fortune 500 company in complex litigation involving more than 190 plaintiffs.  Mr. Kerr also won a motion for summary adjudication in favor of an RV component manufacturer that significantly reduced his client’s exposure under the Song-Beverly Consumer Warranty Act.

Mr. Kerr earned his J.D. from Pepperdine University School of Law in 2003.  During law school, he was a member of the Pepperdine Law Review and competed nationally on the Interschool Moot Court Team.

Mr. Kerr enjoys working out, playing golf, and spending time with his family.
