Peter N. Papageorgiou

Peter N. Papageorgiou is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Chicago office. His practice focuses on complex matters involving catastrophic injury and death, premises liability, motor carrier liability, construction defect and professional liability defense.

Throughout his career, Mr. Papageorgiou has consistently delivered strong outcomes for his clients using pragmatic strategies and creativity. His clients acknowledge and appreciate the efficient defense strategies that resolved high value matters favorably for them. Mr. Papageorgiou is licensed to practice in the State of Illinois, the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois and the United States District Court for the Western District of Wisconsin.

Mr. Papageorgiou obtained his J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago Law School (formerly The John Marshall Law School in Chicago), where he served as President of the Hellenic Law Society Association and was an active member of the Criminal Law Society and Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity. He also obtained his M.S. in Legal Administration, with a focus on law firm administration, from the University of Denver’s Sturm College of Law and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

Outside the office, Mr. Papageorgiou can often be found on the golf course, deep in a good book, training for his next marathon, or cheering on his Fighting Illini, the Chicago Bears, and the Cubs.
