Gabriel Lara
Gabriel Lara is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Fresno office. His practice areas include a complete suite of civil litigation.
Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Mr. Lara was a former prosecutor for Kings County, where he handled a misdemeanor caseload. He started as a Law Clerk at the Kings County District Attorney’s office, working with seasoned attorneys and writing and successfully winning complex legal motions on a variety of topics—including oppositions to motions to suppress critical evidence, oppositions to requests for discovery, and oppositions to requests for diversion on mental health grounds.
Mr. Lara obtained his J.D. from San Joaquin College of Law in 2024. He was presented with the Witkin Award for academic excellence in the field of Public Labor Law. He obtained his B.A. in Business Administration with an option in management from California State University Fresno.
In his free time, Mr. Lara enjoys reading, watching movies, and drawing portraits.
