Tyra Lovelace

Tyra Lovelace is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Houston office, where she focuses on insurance defense and civil litigation. She is known for her strategic approach, efficiency, and ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.

Ms. Lovelace has secured favorable outcomes through strategic motion practice, negotiated settlements that minimize client exposure, and contributed to defense verdicts. She consistently develops litigation strategies that position cases for efficient and effective resolution. Ms. Lovelace is a member of the State Bar of Texas and a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, where she actively participates in community service.

In 2020, Ms. Lovelace obtained her J.D. from Thurgood Marshall School of Law. Ms. Lovelace obtained her B.S. in political science from Florida A&M University in 2016.

Outside of her practice, Ms. Lovelace enjoys spending time with family, traveling, exploring new restaurants, and participating in wellness activities.
