Erika Esqueda
Erika Esqueda is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Fresno Office, where her practice focuses on employment defense.
Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Esqueda practiced exclusively in employment defense, representing corporate clients in class action and PAGA matters. Through this experience, she developed a strong understanding of plaintiff-side strategies and works closely with clients to efficiently resolve disputes through litigation, mediation, and arbitration. Ms. Esqueda is admitted to practice in California and before the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
Ms. Esqueda obtained her J.D from San Joaquin College of Law in Clovis, California. While in law school, she worked for several law firms as a Certified Law Clerk and was actively involved in student organizations. She served as SBA Class President and was honored by her peers as Student of the Year during her fourth year of law school. Ms. Esqueda also obtained her B.A. in Philosophy, Pre-Law, from California State University, Fresno. During her time there, she was actively involved in Phi Alpha Delta, a pre-law fraternity that helped shape her path toward a career in law.
When she is not practicing law, Ms. Esqueda enjoys spending time with her husband, gardening, and unwinding with word search puzzles.
