Norma Pedroza Chavez

Norma Pedroza Chavez is the Managing Partner in Tyson & Mendes’ Sacramento office. Her practice areas include human services, premises liability, professional liability, personal injury, catastrophic accidents, construction defect, construction accidents, and employment law.

Ms. Chavez brings 26 years of experience to the firm. She has extensive experience with all stages of litigation and has resolved cases through trial, mediation, and arbitration.

Ms. Chavez obtained her J.D. from Boston University Law School and her B.A. in psychology and Italian culture from Wellesley College. She is admitted to practice in California, and the U.S. District Courts in the Northern, Central, and Eastern Districts of California.

Ms. Chavez has five children, including two sets of twins. She enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, Pilates, and traveling. She has traveled extensively throughout the United States, Europe and Japan with her children. She is fluent in Spanish and Italian.
