Christopher L. Campbell
Christopher L. Campbell is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Northern California office. His practice focuses on personal injury defense, employment practices defense, and sports-related disputes from high school to Olympic levels.
Mr. Campbell has extensive litigation experience, including representing individuals and businesses in state courts throughout California. Mr. Campbell developed novel legal arguments in a New York State Appellate Division case to establish legal precedent for elder abuse cases. He has prevailed in a number of summary judgment motions. Outside of his regular litigation practice, he occasionally serves as an arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) and Court of Arbitration for Sports (“CAS”) in Olympic related disputes.
Mr. Campbell obtained his J.D. from Cornell University in 1987 and his B.S from the University of Iowa in 1979. He was a two-time national champion in the sport of wrestling while attending the University of Iowa. He is also a World Champion and Olympic Bronze Medalist.
In his free time, Mr. Campbell enjoys spending time with his children, teaching wrestling, and playing golf.
