Ross Harper

Ross Harper is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ San Diego office. He is a member of the firm’s Complex Trial Team, where his practice focuses on a variety of complex civil litigation matters.

Mr. Harper participated in Tyson & Mendes’ Clerkship program in San Diego as a member of the Construction Defect team, where he developed skills and strategies in all stages of litigation. He also gained experience arguing before Division Two and Division Three in the Court of Appeal for the Fourth Appellate District of California while he worked as a law clerk at the Office of the Attorney General in California.

Mr. Harper obtained his J.D. from California Western School of Law in 2020. During law school, Mr. Harper competed as a member of the school’s mock trial team. He also served as an Associate Editor and Writer on California Western’s Law Review. The California Western International Law Journal published his student comment in fall of 2019. Prior to law school, Mr. Harper obtained his B.A. in Political Science with a minor in History from Chapman University in Orange, CA. He also has prior experience as a purchasing agent.

In his free time, Mr. Harper likes to spend his time in (or near) the water.
