Farah Shirah

Farah Shirah is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Jacksonville office. Her practice focuses on insurance defense and personal injury.

Ms. Shirah has successfully managed high-volume caseloads, represented major insurance carriers, and advocated for clients through all stages of litigation—from pre-suit demands to trial. She is a seasoned litigation attorney with over eight years of experience in insurance defense, personal injury protection (PIP), and criminal defense. Known for her sharp litigation strategy and trial advocacy, she has taken the lead in more than 16 criminal trials and chaired a high-exposure uninsured motorist civil trial. Her ability to craft compelling legal arguments, conduct thorough case analysis, and negotiate favorable settlements has earned her multiple promotions and recognition in the field.

Farah obtained her J.D. from Barry University School of Law and holds a B.A. in Criminology from the University of South Florida. She is an active member of the Central Florida Association of Women Lawyers and The Gavel – Claims Defense Network.

Outside of the courtroom, Ms. Shirah enjoys traveling and spending time with her son. She is passionate about mentorship and professional development, always striving to empower the next generation of legal professionals.
