Diversity & Inclusion
|Tyson & Mendes is committed to achieving justice for all through innovation, collaboration, and outstanding service. We view a diversity of backgrounds, ideas, and experiences as our most valuable asset in this mission. Our duty to our clients, employees, and community is to see issues from every angle, both in and out of the courtroom. This means we actively strive to recruit, retain, and promote a workforce with diverse characteristics and perspectives; including but not limited to race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender expression, age, disability, socio-economic status, military service, pregnancy, family, and marital status.
One of the most important factors in maintaining this diverse workforce is an inclusive culture. Tyson & Mendes is committed to fostering an inclusive workplace in each of our offices across the country. Our Diversity & Inclusion Committee steers these efforts firmwide, with an expectation of accountability from firm management in the form of proactive recommendations on how to fulfill this commitment. The Diversity & Inclusion committee also serves to provide support, resources, and solutions for employees with challenges related to diversity and inclusion.
