Nick Walls

Nick Walls is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Jacksonville office. His practice focuses on representing insurers in general and automobile negligence and premises liability claims.
Mr. Walls has successfully defended clients in state and federal courts. He has extensive experience handling first- and third-party cases including car/truck accidents, slip/trip and falls, homeowners and commercial property insurance claims, bad faith litigation, and medical malpractice. His experience also includes appellate work, where he researched and drafted appellate briefs and writ responses in child dependency cases. Mr. Walls has successfully obtained favorable settlements and dismissals for his clients, including securing summary judgment in a high-value property damage dispute which prevented costly litigation. In another case, Mr. Walls successfully defended an insurance carrier against a fraudulent homeowner’s claim, leveraging expert testimony and investigative research to save the insurer from a six-figure payout. He is admitted to practice in the State of Florida and the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
Mr. Walls obtained his J.D. from Barry University, Dwayne O. Andreas School of Law, attending on a Dean’s Excellence Full Tuition Scholarship and graduating cum laude. He holds a B.S. from the University of Central Florida.
Outside of work, Mr. Walls enjoys traveling with his family and spending quality time sharing hobbies with his two sons, including a love of Star Wars. Originally from San Diego, California, he has called Central Florida home for over a decade.
