Nisha Busre

Nisha Busre is an Associate in Tyson and Mendes’ New York office. She concentrates her practice in representing insurance carriers and their insureds in civil litigation matters. She handles a range of disputes, including premise liability, products liability, and medical malpractice. She focuses on providing strategic guidance through all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, motion practice, discovery, and resolution.

Nisha has contributed to successful outcomes on behalf of clients in a variety of litigation matters. Her experience includes assisting in securing favorable settlements that limit liability exposure, supporting dispositive motions that resulted in the dismissal of claims, and helping negotiate efficient resolutions that avoid prolonged litigation.

Nisha earned her Juris Doctor from Brooklyn Law School, where she served as Co-President and Co-Founder of the Evening Students Association and was an active member of the First-Generation Professionals organization. She received her Bachelor of Science in Communications Arts, with a minor in Legal Studies, from St. John’s University, where she was actively involved in campus life as an Orientation Leader, Student Ambassador, and Sorority President. Nisha is a member of the New York Bar Association.

Outside of her legal practice, Nisha enjoys traveling and exploring new cultures, reading, and spending time with family and friends.
