April Rosenbaum

April Rosenbaum is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Houston office.

Ms. Rosenbaum has extensive litigation experience in insurance defense, insurance coverage, construction law, construction defect, real estate, and first-party claims. Her experience includes representing public and private owners, developers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, design professionals, and bonding and insurance companies, as well as large agricultural and pharmaceutical entities. She brings a wide range of experience on various projects of regional and national scope and prominence, and large-scale multi-district and class-action litigation. Ms. Rosenbaum has litigated all manner of cases, ranging from residential material men’s liens to multi-district construction defect claims. Her practice also includes workplace injury, premises liability, trucking accident, and general personal injury cases. She has a thorough understanding of the construction business and construction law and the many and varied risk management tools employed in the industry.

Ms. Rosenbaum is committed to her clients throughout the construction process, from bidding and procurement through resolution of post-construction claims and litigation. When there is a dispute or claim, she helps her clients develop strategies for quick and early resolution but, if required, she is always ready to take a case to trial. Her goal is to get the best possible result for her clients in the shortest time and for the lowest cost. Proper documentation, damage mitigation tactics, and skillful legal positioning of her clients from the start lead to early settlement or a more effective presentation of her clients’ claims at trial. Ms. Rosenbaum is admitted to practice in Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals, and the U.S. District Courts for the Northern, Western, Eastern, and Southern Districts of Texas.

Ms. Rosenbaum obtained her J.D. from the University of Texas School of Law. She obtained her B.S. from Kansas State University.
