Liam Sidebottom
Liam Sidebottom is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ Northern California office. His practice focuses on a variety of civil litigation matters.
Mr. Sidebottom received his J.D. magna cum laude from The Ohio State University’s Moritz College of Law in 2022 and was awarded membership in both the Order of Barristers and the Order of the Coif. During law school, he served as Managing Editor of the Ohio State University Journal of Criminal Law. He also competed on the school’s moot court competition team and received awards for both brief-writing and oral advocacy. During law school, he gained experience as a law clerk at a civil litigation firm in Columbus, Ohio, and as an intern to the General Counsel of a technology company in Silicon Valley, California. Prior to law school, Mr. Sidebottom obtained his B.A. in Political Science from San Francisco State University. As an undergraduate, he competed on the school’s moot court competition team and worked as an intern for the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office. After passing the California bar examination, and immediately prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Mr. Sidebottom served as a judicial law clerk for the Criminal Division of the Superior Court of San Francisco.
In his free time, Mr. Sidebottom enjoys cheering on the San Francisco Giants and the Ohio State Buckeyes, running, and spending time with his family and friends.
