Laura Reiland

Laura Reiland is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Los Angeles office. She is a seasoned negotiator and litigator with over 30 years’ experience in the fields of construction defect defense, premises liability, professional liability, real estate, and personal injury defense, including wrongful death actions.

Ms. Reiland has represented clients in multi-party cases earning a reputation for bringing in settlements significantly below expectations and within the policy limits. She prides herself on her conflict resolution skills by serving as a liaison between her clients, insurance carriers, as well as consultants and designated experts. Ms. Reiland is an effective advocate and skillful risk manager who, by considering the strengths and weaknesses of a case in the early states of litigation, has resolved numerous cases through negotiated settlement and mediation.

Ms. Reiland obtained her J.D. from Whittier College School of Law.  She obtained her B.A. in English Literature/Creative Writing from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Ms. Reiland devotes her time to the greater Los Angeles community as a volunteer with Habit for Humanity and has served as a guest lecturer at the Pepperdine University School of Law.  In her free time Laura enjoys competitive tennis, dancing and Pickleball.
