Alex Mani
Alex Mani is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County office, where he focuses his practice on premises liability, habitability, commercial property, and personal injury defense. He represents businesses, insurers, and other clients through all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, written discovery, deposition preparation, motion practice, and resolution strategy.
Before joining Tyson & Mendes, Mr. Mani developed a broad background spanning litigation, government, business, and leadership. He served as a Legal Intern to the General Counsel of Live Nation Entertainment, where he reviewed and redlined contracts, assessed subpoena requests, and assisted with lease and corporate matters. He also worked with the California Department of Justice’s Special Prosecutions Unit on white-collar matters, supporting prosecutors with memos, briefs, hearings, and witness examinations.
Mr. Mani obtained his J.D. from the University of California, Irvine School of Law, where he participated in Moot Court, worked as a legal advocate in the International Justice Clinic and served as Judicial Relations Director for UCI’s Mock Trial team. In that role, he developed relationships with members of the judiciary and helped strengthen the structure of the university’s mock trial competition program to position the team for success. Through the International Justice Clinic, he drafted a memorandum to the United Nations addressing Pakistan’s deportation of Afghans to Taliban-controlled Afghanistan and analyzed the issue under international law and treaty obligations. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of California, Los Angeles, where he graduated with high academic distinction and held multiple leadership positions.
Outside of work, Mr. Mani is a massive Lakers fan and enjoys playing pickup basketball and soccer, traveling to the Greek islands, discovering great restaurants, and attending concerts.
