Tucker Owen

Tucker Owen is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ San Francisco Bay Area office. His practice focuses on civil litigation and insurance defense.

Mr. Owen has extensive experience representing clients across industries. He served as General Counsel for an international marketing agency and later founded his own law practice advising businesses, artists, and creative professionals on commercial transactions, intellectual property, corporate governance, risk management, and strategic legal matters. Mr. Owen has successfully guided clients through scores of commercial disputes and litigation matters, helping achieve favorable resolutions before trial through sound counseling and negotiated settlements. He has secured substantial financial recoveries on behalf of his clients, routinely protected clients from significant contractual exposure across hundreds of commercial transactions, and regularly advised businesses and creative professionals on safeguarding valuable intellectual property. His practical, business-minded approach enables clients to navigate complex legal challenges while minimizing risk and advancing their strategic objectives. Mr. Owen is admitted to practice law in the State of California.

Mr. Owen obtained his J.D. from University of California College of the Law, San Francisco (formerly U.C. Hastings College of the Law), where he was a member of the Negotiation and Mediation Team. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Oregon, where he was a member of the Pi Sigma Alpha Political Science Honor Society, Mortar Board National College Honor Society, and the National Society of Collegiate Scholars.

In his free time, Mr. Owen is a multi-instrumentalist musician, singer, and songwriter who enjoys writing, recording, and performing throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. He is an avid supporter of live music and his local music community, and he also enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time outdoors with friends and family.
