McKenzie Cannata

McKenzie Cannata is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County office.  She handles matters focused on personal injury defense and habitability litigation.

Mrs. Cannata has previously represented clients on constitutional matters at the appellate level.  Her focus included free speech and second amendment issues, ranging from city ordinances to issues at the appellate level.  She has experience in family law, criminal law, business torts, personal injury on the plaintiff’s side, habitability, and landlord/tenant cases.

Mrs. Cannata obtained her J.D. from Trinity Law School in Santa Ana, California, where she was a member of the TLS Law Review and the National-level Moot Court team.  Mrs. Cannata earned her B.A. in Intercultural Studies from Hope International University, Fullerton, where she focused on inter-cultural studies, which is an aspect she brings to her practice of law.

In her free time, Mrs. Cannata enjoys training for half marathons and chasing around her very active two-year-old son, Kalem.
