Vanessa Oliva-Guerrero
Vanessa Oliva-Guerrero is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County office. Her practice focuses on Consumer Legal Remedies Act defense, general liability, premises liability defense, and personal injury defense.
Ms. Oliva has a decade of litigation experience representing individuals in state courts throughout California and in federal district courts as well as extensive alternative dispute resolution and courtroom experience. Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Oliva litigated in the fields of real estate, probate, estate planning, and Lemon Law. Ms. Oliva is an impactful negotiator and has successfully resolved hundreds of matters via informal negotiations consistent with her clients’ goals. Ms. Oliva prides herself on achieving client satisfaction in each matter and never underestimates the importance of maintaining amicable working relationships with opposing counsel in furtherance of this objective.
Ms. Oliva obtained her J.D. from Southwestern Law School in 2015 with an emphasis in Entertainment Law. She obtained her B.A. in Art History from the University of California, Los Angeles in 2010.
Outside of the office, Ms. Oliva enjoys being a patron of the fine arts in every way possible (reading, concerts, performances, and museums), exercising, volunteering to serve her community, the occasional sports outing, and spending time at home with her family.
