Andrew Williams
Andrew Williams is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Seattle office. His practice focuses on insurance defense, auto bodily injury, premises liability, product liability, construction accidents, uninsured motorist claims, and general civil litigation.
Mr. Williams has over 20 years of experience in civil litigation and has represented both individuals and businesses in state and federal district courts. Before joining Tyson & Mendes, Mr. Williams worked as a team lead for an insurance company’s in-house defense office in Seattle. Mr. Williams began his legal career as a Navy Judge Advocate where he prosecuted service members accused of violating the Uniform Code of Military Justice. Upon returning to civilian life, he represented both plaintiffs and defendants in personal injury claims. He has tried hundreds of matters before arbitrators and has successfully tried over a dozen trials to verdict.
Mr. Williams obtained his J.D. from Santa Clara University in Santa Clara, California. He obtained his B.A. from Bates College in Lewiston, Maine, where he graduated cum laude and was a member of the Phi Beta Kappa society.
In his free time, Mr. Williams loves fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family.
