Amy Headrick

Amy Headrick is the Managing Partner at Tyson & Mendes’ New Mexico office. Her practice focuses on insurance coverage, bad faith litigation, complex civil litigation, medical liability, products liability, trucking, and general insurance defense.

Ms. Headrick brings a wealth of litigation experience to the firm.  Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Headrick worked at a New Mexico firm. In addition to her work in litigation, she served as an attorney editor at Thomson Reuters for over a decade.  Ms. Headrick is admitted to practice law in state courts in New Mexico, as well as the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals and federal district court in New Mexico. She also serves as a Board Member of the New Mexico Defense Lawyers’ Association and is a member of CLM.

Ms. Headrick obtained her J.D. from Tulane University School of Law, where she graduated magna cum laude. During her time at law school, she was part of the Appellate Law Clinic and the Maritime Law Journal. Prior to attending law school, Ms. Headrick received her B.A. in Political Science from the University of Michigan.

In her free time, Ms. Headrick enjoys spending time with her children and appreciating the natural beauty in New Mexico on hikes and camping trips.
