Ivette Reyes
Ivette Reyes is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ New York office. Her practice includes premises liability claims, construction and labor law litigation, commercial and personal motor vehicle litigation, casualty litigation, and general civil litigation.
Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Ms. Reyes worked at large firms in New York where her practice focused on general liability defense. Before transitioning into private practice, Ms. Reyes worked as an Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, NY, where she prosecuted a variety of misdemeanor and felony crimes. Ms. Reyes is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey. She is a member of the Defense Association of New York. She is also a member of various networks of Hispanic and Latino lawyers.
She received her J.D. from The George University Law School in 2017. She received her B.A. from St. John’s University in 2014, where she graduated summa cum laude with a major in Legal Studies and dual minors in Public Relations and International Studies.
Ms. Reyes has dual citizenship in the United States and the Dominican Republic. During her free time, she enjoys traveling, gastronomy, and spending time with her family and friends.
