Daniel El Arnaouty

Daniel El Arnaouty is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ New York and New Jersey offices. He represents businesses and individuals in all aspects of civil litigation. His practice focuses on the defense of claims related to general casualty, automobile liability, insurance coverage, premises liability, construction, labor law, and personal injury.

Mr. El Arnaouty has represented utility companies, non-profits, municipal and city entities, real estate investors and developers, major nation-wide construction contractors, subcontractors, insurance companies, property managers, and Fortune 500 corporate clients. Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Mr. El Arnaouty practiced civil litigation on both the defense and plaintiff sides, giving him valuable insight on the inner workings of each case. Moreover, he primarily worked in the field of insurance defense, dealing with coverage issues, including reviewing each and every case for risk transfer potential upon assignment to ensure all potentially responsible parties and insurers were brought to bear. Mr. El Arnaouty also defended automobile and construction accident claims brought through subrogation, as well as medical malpractice actions.

Mr. El Arnaouty’s passion for litigation was sparked during his internship with the New York State Attorney General’s Office, where he worked in the Environmental Protection Bureau assisting in high-profile investigations in preparation for litigation. Prior to this position, he interned for the Civil Division of the Legal Aid Society, as well as for Justice Robert Miller at the New York State Appellate Division, Second Department.

Mr. El Arnaouty obtained his J.D. from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law in 2017. He obtained his B.A. from the Fordham University in 2013. Mr. El Arnaouty is admitted to practice in New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court in the Eastern and Southern Districts of New York.
