Jenna Hazlett

Jenna Hazlett is an associate at Tyson & Mendes’ New York office. Her practice focuses on insurance defense, construction litigation, premises liability, and general civil liability.

Jenna has represented property owners, general contractors, construction managers, and subcontractors in matters involving New York Labor Law, New York Insurance Law, insurance coverage, and general liability. She has successfully defended numerous clients at all stages of litigation from early dismissals of complaints to successful summary judgment motions and favorable outcomes at mediation. Jenna enjoys working with her team and her clients to formulate the best defense strategy. Jenna also has experience on both sides of litigation, representing plaintiffs in personal injury cases at a boutique law firm, giving her a unique perspective.

Jenna obtained her J.D. from New England Law | Boston, graduating with honors. During her time in law school, she worked as a judicial intern for Justice Anthony Campo of the Massachusetts Superior Court. She was on the Dean’s List throughout law school and was a member of New England Law’s Justice Sandra Day O’Connor Honors Program.

In her free time she enjoys cooking, running, and spending time with her boyfriend, dog, and cat.
