Kyle Lawheed

Kyle Lawheed is Senior Counsel at Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County Office. His practice focuses on general civil defense litigation.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Lawheed had extensive experience in both tort law and contract law. Mr. Lawheed has represented high-profile corporations in the social media, medical, renewable energy, and financial industries. He also has experience with representing small companies and individuals. Mr. Lawheed is an effective negotiator and has successfully implemented his pragmatic approach to effectively settle three personal injury matters, all before a trial setting conference had been set. Mr. Lawheed has also advocated for clients in the financial industry, effectively negotiating greater financial rights on behalf of his clients. Mr. Lawheed also excels at legal research and writing by parlaying those abilities to get a class of individuals class certified in the financial industry.
Mr. Lawheed obtained his J.D. from Whittier College, School of Law, where he graduated with honors in international law and received multiple CALI awards. He obtained his B.A. from The University of California, Fullerton, where he majored in philosophy and graduated cum laude.
When Mr. Lawheed is not practicing law, he enjoys hiking in the mountains, trying new recipes, and watching sports.
