Kevin J. Gray

Kevin Gray is a Partner at Tyson & Mendes’ Northern California office and leads a multi-attorney team.  His practice focuses on personal injury defense, defense of trucking companies, defense of governmental entities, premises defense, and Special Investigation Unit work.

Mr. Gray joined Tyson & Mendes after previously serving as a partner at Harrington, Foxx, Dubrow & Canter law offices, a firm he first joined in 1998.  With more than 35 years in the legal industry, Mr. Gray has tried over 60 cases in California State and Federal Courts, the Nassau County and New York District Attorney’s Office, and Australia.  Among his numerous successful trial results are obtaining a defense verdict in a wrongful death action, recovering attorney’s fees for an individual after a defense verdict at trial, and successfully defending multiple appeals.

Mr. Gray received his B.A. from Princeton University in 1977 and his J.D. from Washington and Lee University in 1982.  While in law school, he was appointed a Burks Scholar.  He is a member of the California State Bar and the Trucking Industry Defense Association (TIDA), as well as an annual lecturer for TIDA.

Outside of work, Kevin relishes spending time with his wife and two adult children (and puppy), hiking, running, and traveling.  Kevin is also active coaching high school lacrosse and playing on the Masters Circuit.
