Austin Lewis

Austin Lewis is an Associate at Tyson & Mendes’ Seattle office. His practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury defense, premises and products liability, and general negligence matters.  

Prior to joining Tyson and Mendes, Mr. Lewis practiced personal injury litigation in northern Florida. He has extensive litigation experience, including representing individuals and businesses in state courts and in federal district courts. Mr. Lewis excels at identifying pertinent issues in a case, reducing it to its most integral value drivers, and positioning it for efficient and cost-effective resolution. He is adept at stepping into large cases late in the litigation process and providing extensive, detailed evaluations while readying the case for trial and a favorable outcome.  

Mr. Lewis obtained his J.D. from Lewis and Clark Law School in 2018, where he earned a Discovery Grant for demonstrated interest in public service. He obtained his B.A. from the University of Florida in 2015. 

In his free time, Mr. Lewis enjoys spending time with his wife, their dog, and three cats. He also enjoys exploring the natural and culinary offerings of the Pacific Northwest.
