Adrian Hern

Adrian Hern is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Novato Office. Her practice focuses on catastrophic personal injury defense, catastrophic property loss defense and defense of entity defendants where bad faith is alleged.

Ms. Hern has extensive litigation experience representing individuals and businesses in state and federal courts throughout California. She is adept at developing and implementing successful litigation plans leading to “win-win” judgments and settlements for clients ranging from hundreds of thousands to millions of dollars. She has given nationwide MCLE presentations and has authored several articles on identifying and resolving contested insurance issues. Martindale-Hubbell® awarded her their highest rating, the AV-Preeminent® rating.

Ms. Hern obtained her J.D. degree from Golden Gate University School of Law, where she specialized in litigation. During her time in law school, Ms. Hern was also an editor of the Annual Survey of International and Comparative Law Journal. She obtained her M.B.A. from Golden Gate University School of Business in 1999. She obtained her undergraduate degree with honors and distinction from UC Santa Barbara in 1994.

In her free time, she volunteers on two animal rescue committees. She also enjoys travel, camping, whitewater rafting, scuba diving, and making practical art.
