The increasing popularity of social media has created a number of legal pitfalls for employers and employees. This course will give attendees a crash course in navigating the latest social media trends, tips to consider when creating company-wide social media policies, and how to balance protecting your company’s reputation with the risk of overstepping employees’ work/life boundaries. Using recent case studies, Tyson & Mendes Senior Counsel Regina Silva will lead participants in a discussion of social media issues and best practices for employers.
