Wendy Mitchell

Wendy Mitchell is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Orange County office. Her practice focuses on medical malpractice, wrongful death, catastrophic personal injury, premises liability, sexual abuse, class action, and products liability.

Ms. Mitchell has extensive litigation experience, including representing individuals and businesses in state courts throughout California and in federal district courts. Ms. Mitchell has handled many high-profile cases and was recently part of the trial team representing governmental entities nationwide in the landmark national opioid litigation against the manufacturers and distributors of opioids. She was part of numerous MDL Bellwether Trials in Ohio and New York, which resulted in unanimous jury verdicts and multi-billions in settlements and verdicts. She is licensed in all federal district courts in California.

Ms. Mitchell obtained her J.D. from Western State College of Law. During law school, she was Vice-President of Honors Moot Court and was the sole recipient of the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA) Fellowship. Ms. Mitchell also interned with the Orange County Superior Court Judges. While in law school, Ms. Mitchell also studied at The University of Cambridge. She obtained her B.A. from the University of Southern California from the prestigious USC Annenberg School for Communications.

In her free time, Ms. Mitchell enjoys doing charitable work for many causes and mentoring inner city students to assist in college and scholarship opportunities as first-generation college students. She loves attending USC sports, is an active member of her alma mater, and is a member of the Trojan Athletic Fund.
