McNamara as a partner to represent clients in catastrophic personal injury defense, commercial vehicle litigation, premises liability litigation, and general liability litigation to the firm’s Los Angeles office.

McNamara brings more than 20 years of experience advising insurers on their duties under general liability, excess, umbrella, pollution, property, and auto insurance policies. His extensive practice includes representing trucking companies and other commercial enterprises in personal injury litigation. He also has vast experience in all phases of ERISA litigation in all California Federal Courts.

McNamara served as regional managing partner of Traub Lieberman Straus & Shrewsberry LLP in Los Angeles before joining Tyson & Mendes. He has tried numerous bench and jury trials to verdict, argued before the California Court of Appeal and successfully disposed of cases by way of motion of summary judgement.

Active in his professional community, McNamara is a member of the California Bar and admitted to practice before the United States District Court of the Central, Southern, Northern and Eastern Districts of California as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.

McNamara obtained his Bachelor of Arts in sociology from University of California, Berkeley, and his Juris Doctor from Pepperdine University School of Law where he graduated cum laude.
