Narmina Sharifova
Narmina Sharifova is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Seattle office. Her practice is focused on representing insurer clients in matters involving general liability, complex bodily injury, construction defect, traumatic brain injury, and premises liability cases.
Ms. Sharifova is an experienced insurance defense attorney. Before joining Tyson & Mendes, she was an insurance litigation associate at global and prominent Seattle-based firms. There, she gained experience taking and defending depositions, preparing motions, reviewing and analyzing discovery materials, liaising with insurance carrier clients, handling all aspects of trial preparation, developing litigation strategies, and participating in settlement negotiations. She obtained a favorable verdict at an arbitration hearing and, later, dismissed the case on a motion for summary judgment after the verdict was appealed de novo. She also obtained a full defense verdict at an arbitration hearing.
Ms. Sharifova obtained her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law and her B.A., summa cum laude, in Law, Societies, and Justice from the University of Washington, where she received the President’s Medal in recognition of exemplary academic achievement.
In her free time, Ms. Sharifova enjoys learning Mandarin and traveling.
