Melissa Alessi
Melissa Alessi is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Las Vegas office. Her practice focuses on personal injury defense.
Ms. Alessi has extensive litigation experience representing individuals, businesses, and a governmental agency in Nevada state courts and federal district courts. Ms. Alessi has been extremely successful in her trials and has obtained favorable rulings through motion work. Ms. Alessi has experience with appellate work and has orally argued in front of the Nevada Court of Appeals.
Ms. Alessi obtained her J.D. from Pepperdine University, where she was a member of the mock trial team selected as the National Champions of the Thurgood Marshall Mock Trial competition. Ms. Alessi obtained her B.A. from Stanford University, where she was a member of the Chi Omega sorority.
In her free time, Ms. Alessi enjoys watching sports, especially the WNBA Las Vegas Aces. She is a supporter of the Stanford and UNLV basketball teams. She enjoys traveling and has been to over 25 different countries.
