Jay H. Min

Jay H. Min is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ New York office. His practice includes strict products liability, construction/Labor Law, negligence, property, and premises liability. He has over a decade of litigation experience throughout New York, including insurance defense, banking compliance, shareholder derivative actions, and commercial litigation.

Mr. Min was recognized by Schneps Media as one of their “Stars Under 40” and by New York Metro Super Lawyers® as a “Rising Star” since 2020, a significant accomplishment given Super Lawyers selects only 2.5% or fewer attorneys in New York to make the “Rising Star” list. He has also been recognized by Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® since 2024 for commercial and personal injury litigation and has previously served on the Judicial Screening Panel for the 9th Judicial District. Mr. Min is admitted to practice law in New York and New Jersey, as well as the United States District Court in the Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of New York.  He has served multiple terms as an officer of the Korean American Lawyers Association of Greater New York and is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the Asian American Bar Association of New York.

Mr. Min obtained his J.D. from Hofstra Law School. He obtained his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Rochester.

In his free time, Jay likes to design and build creative adventures and create recipes for his son.
