Anthony Goos
Anthony Goos is an Associate in Tyson & Mendes’ Denver office. His practice focuses on a wide variety of civil litigation, including construction defect, personal injury, premises liability, and other related areas of insurance defense.
Prior to joining Tyson & Mendes, Mr. Goos clerked for the Hon. Judge Kandace C. Gerdes at the Denver District Court. During his time as a judicial law clerk, he gained experience handling civil matters of all types, including writing numerous orders on dispositive motions and assisting the court in conducting several bench and jury trials. While in law school, he practiced as a student attorney in DU’s Civil Litigation Clinic. As a student attorney, he zealously advocated for his clients in a wide range of civil disputes, helping his clients achieve favorable outcomes.
Mr. Goos obtained his J.D. from the University of Denver in 2024, where he served as the President of the Student Trial Lawyers Association and competed on the school’s National Trial Team. While on the team, he earned top placements in several tournaments, including the National Trial League and the National Ethics Trial Competition. In addition to classes and competitions, Mr. Goos externed for Hon. Judge Jerry N. Jones of the Colorado Court of Appeals and worked as a student attorney for DU’s Tribal Wills Program. He obtained his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Colorado in Colorado Springs.
In his free time, Mr. Goos enjoys all of the perks of being a Colorado native—hiking, camping, flyfishing, and cheering hard for the Denver Broncos.
