Yanyan Yan

Yanyan Yan is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ Sacramento office. Her practice areas include personal injury, employment law, corporate law, and criminal defense, including white collar defense.

Ms. Yan has been defending individuals and business entities in state courts, federal district courts, as well as in administrative proceedings throughout California. She has a track record of winning motions and arguments, including demurrers and discovery motions. She also excels in negotiation, saving her clients over a million dollars and securing dismissals. In addition to her defense experience, Ms. Yan has also served as an in-house counsel and is familiar with corporate clients and their particular needs. She is a member of New York State Bar and California State Bar.

Ms. Yan obtained her LLM degree from University of Southern California, Gould School of Law, in 2010.

In her free time, Ms. Yan enjoys paddling and attending concerts. Ms. Yan is multilingual. She speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin.
