Margaret E. Allen
Margaret E. Allen is Senior Counsel in Tyson & Mendes’ San Francisco Bay Area office. Her practice focuses on landlord defense and representation in landlord-tenant disputes and unlawful detainers.
Mrs. Allen has extensive litigation experience, including representing landlords and property management companies in state courts throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. She brings an innovative approach to her practice and has been tremendously successful in court and jury trials. Mrs. Allen helped an individual landlord recover possession of a unit in a multi-family building from a hoarding tenant. Mrs. Allen has litigated and defeated the local tenants’ rights firm, which attempted to paint landlords in a negative light.
Mrs. Allen obtained her J.D. from John F. Kennedy University College of Law in 2013, where she earned a public interest certificate and worked in the housing clinic. She obtained her B.A. from California State University East Bay in 2007, where she studied political science and was published in the political science journal.
In her free time, Mrs. Allen enjoys spending time with her family and watching her daughter grow up. She loves to volunteer and give back to her community. She enjoys participating in her church’s special events and singing in the choir. She also enjoys country music, country karaoke, and country line dancing.
